tusler Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I have been getting dropped alot when I go on line. Sometimes just after I get placed in a aircraft it says DCS stopped responding. Sometimes after I have been playing for 15 min. I never had any problems prior to the last update. Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:! Scooternutz Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 ;2255260']Is your connection speed set to ADSL 2048? Hi Maverick, Could you clarify this? Mine is set to the max ADSL. I remember in Falcon we would, and still do, limit the bandwidth settings. Is that a similarity here? Thanks! foxfive Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I have been hosting missions and the couple of people i play with have both experienced game crashes at the same time around the 15 minute mark. I however can still play. They get a "program is not responding" message.
Wrecking Crew Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 This latest update to 1.2.12 has Clients being disconnected regularly from Hollo Pointe server. 15 minutes in, or less. The missions were all saved under this latest version with no other changes made to them. WC Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. All released missions are available for free download, modification and public hosting, from my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
chrisman01 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I've been having issues too. So far the only server I've made it into is Hoggit, then the game will randomly crash. Others will say connection interrupted, regardless of what connection type I have selected. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
104th_Maverick Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Could you clarify this? Sadly not, I do not know enough about these settings to tell you how they work. What I can say is that we (the 104th) tell all our clients who connect to our server to do so at ADSL 2048 and they all seem to get on just fine. It seems to be the most stable setting for MP. Our server sees more than 40 clients connected at once on a daily basis, so it works for a lot of people. Our host machine is set to LAN but clients including my self set ADSL 2048 and can connect to the server for as long as the mission runs or until a crash happens, client or server side.
