mr.john_doe Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Hello, is it possible to use my windows 8.1 tablet (not RT) as a inut device for things like mfd's or costum panels? Regards
boarder2 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 If there's enough interest I'd consider taking another stab at a Windows (modern app) port of DCS VC. iControl DCS/DCS Virtual Cockpit - Full featured iPad Cockpit - Now with Android support! mr.john_doe Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 Hello, that would be one thing. I own the android version but bought a Windows Tablet now. I thought I had red that you can use more than one pc with helios. So I thought I launch helios on my Win Tablet and bring the mfds and some switches to this and use the app at my android pad for the rest of the controls or vice versa ...
Abburo Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Tablets with Windows 8.1 start to rise in the market, from cheap versions to expensive ones. Having in mind the general inutility of Android OS :D, I think that a version to be published into Windows store will have a great added value for you as developer as for us as customers. Actually you are double winning because it can be used from any other PC/Laptop as well as for tablet. I am reffering to those tablets with Intel Atom and windows 8.1/bing, not the RT version nor Windows phone. RT version of windows seems to not have a long life anyway, but those Atom tablets are just superb. Abburo Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I also would be extremly glad if this app will cover other planes, especially SU-25T and SU-27.... and all rest... :) Romanian Community for DCS World HW Specs: AMD 7900X, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, HOTAS Virpil, MFG, CLS-E, custom
