Mtnbiker1998 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I'm looking into a CH fighterstick and rudder as a christmas present, but i won't be able to afford a throttle for a little while. Right. Now i'm using a thrustmaster T-flight hotas X, would I be able to use the throttle with the CH stick until i pick up a seperate throttle? Since the T-flight stick and throttle are connected by a wire i would need to put the stick to the side out of the way. Can I do this? Or can the game only use one hotas at a time? Thanks in advance! Come fly with me, lets fly, lets fly away! -Sinatra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Specs: Lenovo Y50 with GTX 860m (2GB), i7 4700HQ 2.4GHz, 8GB Ram. Korn Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 The game doesn't care whether it's called it a HOTAS, a throttle or a stick. They're all controllers and any combination will work just fine. Shot answer yeah, you can do it np. :) 1
Sokol1_br Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 And can use the T-flight stick as button bay, secondary functions - besides his throttle. ;)
cliffy229 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Having just made this exact switch, I can confirm. Fighterstick for roll and pitch, pro pedals for yaw, throttle from the old HOTAS for throttle and all of the buttons that I need. The fighterstick has so many buttons though that the stick buttons are going un-used and it just sits on my desk to pass along throttle input the computer.
