1.JaVA_Platypus Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I am not sure if this has been brought up before, but why not add keys and an "Axis" for controlling the PKV gunsight? I use quite a lot of diffrent weaponry on the Mi-8 and sometimes I need to change the depression angle/Mills setting of the PKV. And I think it makes sense to have it as an "axis" so i can map it to a slider on my joystick setup. Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
GregP Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 There are several buttons/switches/axes in the pit such as these that don't have entries in the control GUI yet, so I would imagine that Belsimtek simply haven't gotten around to it yet, but plan to do so.
Toxic Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Well, also regarding the gun sight is there a way to move it out of the way? #CHOPPERLIVESMATTER http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

1.JaVA_Platypus Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 Somebody posted a few lines you can add in a *.lua file somewhere to add the aformentioned axis in the control options somewhere. But I can't find it anymore. Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
1.JaVA_Platypus Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 I got it! Just insert the following lines in the DCS world\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\joystick\default.lua file: {action = 3001, cockpit_device_id = 47, name = "PKV Intensity"}, {action = 3003, cockpit_device_id = 47, name = "PKV Elevation"}, Now I am able to assign the sight elevation and sight intensity as an axis! Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
