Nooch Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Hi! I've recently discovered there is a TWS2 mode with the Mig-29S (possibly the "A" version as well, I haven't checked yet). I wonder what difference there is between the standard TWS mode and this weird TWS2. Any thoughts on this? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Alright thanks for the link, I see what it is for now. But for this to work, from my understanding, the two aircrafts you want to lock onto need to be inside your lock box at the same time. Not as handy as the F-15, allowing you to lock targets spread far appart... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
LuSi_6 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 No, they can be appart all over your radar search area just like with the eagle. But the R-77 suck and LA range is much shorter than with the AIM-120 :pilotfly: Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pedals, Oculus Rift :joystick:
D4n Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Is it, lusi? Cause it should be fair in DCS and have same ranges. There is also a scramjet version of R-77 afaik (not in DCS yet though). Also, Axel, with such an expensive computer like yours you shouldn't be too lazy to read the FC3 manual in your DCS-Documents folder in your windows start-menu...
