So the bottom line is that if I want to fully utilize your Helios profile, I have to make the diff changes that you made. Correct?

 

PS why did you make the throttle left change? my throttle seems to work fine in the profile.

you dont neccissarily have to make changes to your keybindings, but you need to make them there or within Helios. I gave you my diff file so you can see the changes that I made in the DCS keybindings as some of those commands may be relevant to the assignments I made in Helios. you can just as well keep your default DCS keybindings, but you would have to find those commands in my profile and change them to what the DCS default keys are, your choice.

 

To answer your other question, I dont change keybindings unless they conflict with other keybindings in use with stuff like Helios, TrackIR, or my programming for Foxy for my Cougar HOTAS. So if you seen a keybinding change like the one you mentioned, it was likely due to the fact that I was using that keybinding for something else and I find it much easier to change the DCS Module keybinding,,, hope that answers your question.
