Hey everyone, I bought the A-10C and it won't work. I'll load up a fast mission in SP and it will bring up the F10 map, even if I hit F1 for cockpit view, it won't bring me to the cockpit. I've installed it multiple times and have even uninstalled and reinstalled DCS World. I have no idea what to do :/

It could mean that your A-10C module isn't activated yet.

Basically when you purchase a module in the E-shop here on the website it's automatically bound to your E-shop / DCS account. (not forum account)

The step after installing DCS WORLD is to go to the Module manager in DCS World (In-game menu) and you need to login to that account used for the E-shop on this website.

This modulemanager will ask you to download the aircraft you own and installs it too.

It doesn't ask me to activate, but I download it from the Module Manager...

Also, I know for a fact it will work on my computer, it has run on it before. When I get home I'll upload the .zip

try activating it by going to

DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\bin

using the protect application, follow the instructions and enter your key.

Note: seeing your logs folder will make it easier to help you

I think the installation just didn't happen correctly. Maybe an old installation of DCS World/mods left traces.

I suggest the following steps:

(- Unload any user mods you have installed)

-Run Repair DCS World

( click start (windows)-> eagle dynamics->DCS World->Repair DCS World)

Then when finished

-Run Update DCS World from the same menu. (you can run this again when it's finished to be sure all is updated to the latest version)

After that is finished go to the module manager (ingame menu) and check if the A-10C is installed when you are logged in with your useraccount.

If all is ok, create a new mission with the mission editor, place the A-10C on the map make it flyable for you and start the mission.

Hopefully it works :)

I really assume there is an issue regarding the old installation of the module and is/ or was interfering with your newer installation.

If you want to check the parameters of your A-10C serialkey go here and log in : https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/

You can see how many activations you have left, and if the serial is bound to your account.

Goodluck! Not gonna give up until it works ;)

From your logs:

Thanks for your help! I'm redownloading the entire, latest version of DCS World and we'll see where it goes from there...
