Gerbilskij Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I tried searching the forum but I have not found any answer for my problem, which is the following. I downloaded several custom made campaign and put them in the indicated folder (...save/DCS/missions/campaign/en) but apparently they do not show up in the campaign menu/user (nor elsewhere!), with just one exception (namely "Vergeev Group v2.7"). I can see the single mission and play them by loading them in the mission/my missions menu but not in the campaign mode... Maybe I have done something wrong, but I carefully followed the instructions (and that campaign works!) I also tried to create my own custom campaign following the basic info provided in the manual and putting in some (simple test) mission I created but they don't show up either... Is it a known error, or I'm the only one experiencing this? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, G PS Sorry if I have mistakenly put this in the wrong section but I'm pretty new arund here.
ED Team NineLine Posted January 8, 2015 ED Team Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) Not at my puter to look at the moment, but instead of (...save/DCS/missions/campaign/en) doesnt it need to be (...save/DCS/Missions/EN/Campaigns/) Might have the EN and Campaigns backwards as I said, not at my puter at the moment... Gerbilskij Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Thanks for the fast reply. Unfortunately, that which you have mentioned is the correct folder name/order for DCS missions ex. Program Files (x86)\STEAM\SteamApps\common\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\Su-25T\Missions\EN\Campaigns\Georgian Oil War - Grand Campaign.cmp ), while for user created content I apparently put everytjing in the correct folder: "...save/DCS/missions/campaignS/en".
ED Team NineLine Posted January 8, 2015 ED Team Posted January 8, 2015 Can you give me the link to one or two of the campaigns you are having an issue with, maybe I can try them later... it might be a Steam thing... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Played with putting custom campaigns in the User section recently, and found: 1.You should save them for the default ED DCSW in the c:\Users\Username\Saved Games\Dcs\Missions\Campaigns\en\ Folder, maybe slightly different for Steam Version. 2. Campaigns can't be in there own subdirectories, or only one campaign will show up in the USER ingame menu. This means that all campaign files, including *.cmp, *.miz, *.jpg for all your custom campaigns must be dumped into that one directory. 3. Follow the above and all campaigns will show up in the USER Section of Campaigns fine and be playable as normal. Kind Regards, Ian. Gerbilskij Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 IT WORKED!!!! Many thanks! So, the trick is not to have any subfolders in ...Saved Games\Dcs\Missions\Campaigns\en\ folder Thanks again. PS I think this part is exactly the same in the original and steam versions, or at least the folder for custom missions/camps is the same.
