kimmel Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) I will shortly start to offer Instrumentpanels for the Bell UH 1 D according german army standard. I will also start posting a cockpit thread, telling the background, why we developed these instruments. At the moment, I am wondering, if there would be any interest in full instrument panels, or 2/3 Instrument panels (right and Center) with possible upgrade to attach the 1/3 left side. All instruments are plug and Play, und fully functional, except the 4 Volt/load meters, these are original, and will be driven by pwr supply, not controlled through dcs We can also offer plug and Play solutions for all switching panels. these will only be in exchange for the equivilant original panel as we only use original parts. Everythying is preprogrammed and works as plug and Play solution, using Canbus from the automotive industry. This will be the high end solution, I estimate the price to be in the area of 10.000,00 Eur for a complete instrument Panel. Bear in mind, that there are 30 instruments installed. Is anyone interested? Edited January 10, 2015 by kimmel
kimmel Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 incomplete Panel This was the first Fitting test, some instruments still missing
UH1Fan Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Looks very nice! Is this based on one of the simulators that was for sale a while ago? I may be interested in some of the instruments.
FlyingHighAU Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Really cool, I think flight schools would probably want to have something like this. As for home users, given the amount of immersion you get in an oculus rift, I think cockpit building will be fairly rare. Assuming the oculus doesn't make people hurl :)
