Hi there guys,

I'm currently flying DCS, FSX and Falcon BMS on an ASUS N55S (i7 2630QM - 2.2 GHz to 3.1, 8Gb RAM and GT555m 2Gb) laptop with fairly good results (graphic options not maxed out but good FPS most of the time), but would like to spend some extra cash that I just received on a new rig

I was pretty convinced to get an ASUS ROG G751JY (but ASUS has not launched it on Spain yet ) when I discovered the new Alienware 17 r2 (love the aesthetics!! ;)). Budget-wise, I'm looking to the model with 4710HQ CPU (3.5Ghz), 8 Gb RAM and GTX980m 4Gb and 256 Gb SSD.

However, I just discovered the Clevo P771ZM (http://www.clevo-extreme-gaming.com/CLEVO_P771ZM/p2920174_13514978.aspx) which, with the 4790K upto 4.4 GHz, 16 Gb RAM and GTX980m 8 Gb is about 200€ more expensive than the Alienware.

Question is, is it worth the extra 200€ for the Clevo as a future-proof for EDGE and DCS: F/A-18C?

May I ask why a laptop? A desktop would be much better value but if a laptop is absolutely required, then the Clevo would be better to future proof...spend the extra cash..
