Hello!

In the last weeks I have build my own Huey-Panel.

I built only the Panels I need to fly and I´m able to build (no radios unfortunately). In addition a Panel, for some Simulationswitches, like Doors, Doorgunner, Nightvision, Autopilot, Kneeboard and so on.

My wife cut it with a plotter in self-adhesive film and I stuck it on some backlit acryl.

Unfortunately the plotter did not make it really good, so that the result isn´t so good as hoped.

But for a first try, it´s ok. Maybe I try it with laser engraving the next try :).

Then I put the whole on drawer rails, so that I can push it when not in use under the table:

But I can not use the Panel at the moment, because one of my two Bodnar-Boards have stopped working. I´ve contacted Leo Bodnar and hope he can help me.

What do you think, apart from the errors of the plotter and some missing caps?

That looks amazing, now I want my own desk! (Currently living in a dorm room, no space for a permanent simpit and the desk is not mine to modify).

Why can't you use the radios? As far a I remember, the Leo Bodnar boards support rotary encoders, right?

Shameless plug: if you have not already, you may also want to check out DCS-BIOS. Its UH-1H support has not been fully tested, but should be complete.

that looks nice... but I'm really interested in what keyboard you have? I'm kinda been searching for a couple of months but that one you have there seems to be brushed aluminium... and wireless? It looks amazing!

It's a Logitech G15 (older version), I have the same one and love it. I've had mine for about 7-8 years and the LED's are starting to go out, need to replace them or buy a new one.

Of course kreisch.

What additional info you mean?

I´ve created the layout with Photoshop (which was an error in retrospect, now I would do it with a CAD-Programm), bought some switches on Ebay and other Shops and wired them to the two Bodnar-Boards (which are running perfectly now!). The wiring is really simple, you can´t do anything false with the very simple push in wire connectors on the BBI-32 Boards.

Then I programmed all the Buttons to the "Button Box Interface.diff" lua-file in DCS. That was by far the most complicated part of the build. If I would start with it today, I would definitly try the new DCS-BIOS to map the Buttons to DCS. But I had almost finished it as the program appeared.

Tell me what you need to know and I will try to help you.

Sorry for my "german school english" :megalol:

That is a creative way to do it. I like the drawer idea. Very cool. Maybe overhead storage on some business type desks could take a clue on that and sport some hinges upper panels.
