GreyBadger Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Evening Pilots I've been experimenting a little with my virtual position in the A-10a cockpit. But I've noticed that RAlt+Num0 for "Save Cockpit Angles" does not seem to save my efforts between sessions. Am I doing something wrong, or is this function only supposed to save your changes for the session you are in. Doesn't seem logical to have to do it all again every time. Also while I have got you :) ...... I notice that there are some custom quick view angles listed in the controls section. these would be quite handy for some of the lower cockpit dials and stuff I don't seem to be able to crane my neck to get down to very well with the Trackir. So if the controls given are what you would press when the views are set, how do you set them up in the first place? Many thanks as ever. Badger
King_Hrothgar Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Did you recenter your trackir? Cause saving the angles doesn't do you any good unless you also recenter your head tracking. The feature works just fine for me in every plane I have for DCS, including both A-10 models. I've never messed with the quick view options so can't comment on those.
Kuky Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Make sure that in game options, Misc. tab, User snap-view saving option is ticked (enabled), then save cockpit angles command will work.
