today, after install F-86, I saw only one paint in mission editor

is that normal?

if not, what happen?

if normal, where are the other customed paints located?

and how to install new paint to DCS saber?

Yes, I think it has only one default paint scheme at the moment. Never used it, because custom ones are better anyway. Where to get them? Usual places: DCS website, lockonfiles etc.. Where to install them? Similar to all other aircraft - drop them in a folder DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\F-86F Sabre\

That is the only skin available in the beta. I'm sure a lot more will be available in the release version. There were some nice community skins made but I can't seem to find the thread at the moment.

Go here, set file type to "Skin" and Game to "F-86F Sabre", click on filter and you'll find quite a few skins ready for downloading. Enjoy.

as Invisibull told, those in user file section have already feed my need.

 

furthmore, before I install them, I think the paint of FSX milviz F-86 is so metal realistic, with all details. Till now it is still the best F-86 paint I'v ever seen.

hope some friend can make paint in that quality.

I failed to locate the "F-86F sabre" folder in DCS world\Bazar\liveries\

 

there is no F-86F sabre folder in there

 

what happen? did you met same situation?

I don't remember if there was one after installing the mod. Maybe not. Create it Yourself and it should work all right.

You have to create the folder yourself. I strongly recommend your using JSGME going forward as it will greatly simplify the process of installing/uninstalling skins and mods.

I will install and try JSGME, thanks alot for giving me the link and the thread answered many questions

Because there is no f-86f folder in MOD\liveries, I think, even use JSGME, I still need create a new f-86f folder in original MOD\liveries, am I right?

If I don't, there won't be corresponding folder for JSGME _mod.

I haven't used JSGME for DCSW, so I don' know how to set it up. I install skins the traditional way, by copying them to \Bazar\Liveries\AircrafFolder and only there. When You create a folder for F-86 make sure You spell it right, it's "F-86F Sabre", not "F-86F Saber".
