I'm guessing it's because you have the cockpit language set to Russian in your options. This means any Russian planes you fly will have the Russian HUD. If you set it to English (screenshot), Russian aircraft will have English HUDs.

Keep note that this won't translate the whole cockpit to English for most aircraft except for maybe the Ka-50.

It depends on mission for me. I always wondered why. Some missions have HUD in english, some in russian, despite I don't touch my settings. Also head movement speed is noticeably different in some mission. Is this some kind of bug?

Are you saying that in the same aircraft, the HUD is sometimes in English and sometimes in Russian?

Exactly.

Su-25T

Cockpit language: English

Yet, HUD is in Russian in Long Day.miz mission, while in instant action CAS missions HUD is in English. Can anybody reproduce this behaviour?

Yes, it is happening to me too. I'm guessing it's because some of those missions such as Long Day.miz have an embedded track file (the little movie at the beginning). Some how, that track file is overriding your personal settings. Maybe it's using the settings that were in place when the track file was created.

Yes, I thought so. I guess I will have to figure out which one is en route which one is landing and etc.

Don't worry though I am used to not understanding the language, I am an American in Miami!
