Gamja Field Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) Hi, can someone help me with this issue? I can't get DCS World to work with the MiG-21 module installed. It makes the game fail to load the second instance(module), not just MiG-21 but every modules. I tried to re-install the module and DCS World itself, but it didn't fix the problem. My system spec and error screen and log Sorry for the Korean language :) It says "DCS is not responding" and here's the part of the log message. 00034.675 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./mods/aircraft/MIG-21BIS/entry.lua 00034.675 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./mods/aircraft/MIG-21BIS/Entry/01_Suspension.lua 00034.675 UNKNOWN main: ERROR: scan_mods: can't open './mods/aircraft/MIG-21BIS/Entry/01_Suspension.lua' 00034.676 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./mods/aircraft/MIG-21BIS/Entry/03_Views.lua (omitted) 00034.716 ERROR VFS: add_location {"My Missions", "D:\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\"}: path already added as "My Missions" 00036.617 ERROR DXGUI_EDGE_RENDER: Cannot load texture '' 00036.748 INFO SOUND: loaded 944 sdefs from ".\sounds\sdef" 00036.752 INFO SOUND: XAudio2: Using device ID:'{0.0.0.00000000}.{94783379-1b3b-4e49-bce7-cf683a2f93d1}' Name:'Speaker(Sound Blaster Z)', channels: 6 00036.752 INFO SOUND: XAudio2: channel layout: FrontLeft FrontRight FrontCenter LowFrequency BackLeft BackRight 00036.761 INFO SOUND: Using SSE FTZ/DAZ mode. 00039.472 UNKNOWN main: base.enableModules[v]= true MiG-21Bis AI by Leatherneck Simulations 00039.474 UNKNOWN main: Mission C:\Windows\TEMP\DCS\tempMission.miz loaded 00041.000 UNKNOWN main: checking introduction C:\Windows\TEMP\DCS\tempMission.miz 00041.000 UNKNOWN main: introduction NOT found 00042.288 UNKNOWN main: turning log false 00042.291 INFO SOUND: detaching sdef path ".\sounds\sdef\" === Log closed. :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie: Edited March 7, 2015 by resmania

Gamja Field Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 None of the solutions seems to working. I also tried to clean install Windows 8.1 with English version, but still I get the same problem.Logs.zip
Flagrum Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 When the error "... does not respond" comes, how long do you wait until you click "ok"? I suggest that you wait some time. This error can come up if DCS is busy but you click somewhere in the DCS window. Windows thinks that a program "might" have crashed if it does not respond to user interactions in a short amount of time - but that does not always mean that the program has really crashed (especially true for DCS). So wait maybe 5 minutes minimum. And/or you could check with the windows task manager if DCS is still doing something (CPU load of the DCS task).

I waited for 30 minutes and... I'm just gonna wait until dev releases the stable version. Hope that works for my system.
