MemphisBelle Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Why so complicated? Multiseat Modules will be regular modules anyway, so pay for the module and enjoy the possibility of having two or more possible positions to have fun with...Done! BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection
Tumbleweed Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I think its just typical internet gamer elitism that supposes that nobody wants to be the guy in the backseat. Thats a tense exciting job, particularly in the Tomcat where the front seat guy is basically boned outside of WVR without him. It also allows people who are weak in BFM to still contribute to combat multiplayer with friends who are. All in all the "nobody wants to pay to be the WSO/RIO" is the kind of babble I expect from people with teamwork handicaps. Yep - I'd go RIO no probs. Two people working an aircraft to its full potential, both on comms.. Devastating. Used to play Battlefield 3 when it first came out and the Helo gunships were virtually unstoppable when you got a good pilot/gunner combo working comms. Not the same kind of game but certainly the same scenario I believe. Can't wait for multiseat aircraft personally. I'd also say in my opinion it will be more practical for both to buy the module. That way pilot / rio teams can practice both roles at leisure.
