hello all,

 

i can't get reshade working on DCS World 2 OpenAlpha?

 

- i put the most recent ''ReShade 1.1.0 with SweetFX 2.0'' files in my ''G:\AlphaEagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\bin'' folder (i tried previous versions aswel)

 

-i only put the ''ReShade64.dll'' and renamed it to ''dxgi.dll''

 

i'm not getting the ''compiling effect succeeded'' on top left left corner screen when i start DCS World 2 OpenAlpha, wich indicates that reshade isn't working.

 

does anybody got the same problem and a fix? or am i doing something wrong?

All you need is start ReShade Setup.exe from folder ''ReShade 1.1.0 with SweetFX 2.0'' ... same procedure as here http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2501040&postcount=21 ...

 

It work.

 

Before that check your bin folder and manualy remove ReShade folders and files as described here http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2508211&postcount=40

Very strange? i worked once, after restarting DCS World 2 OpenBeta the ''compiling effect succeeded'' doesn't show up anymore?

 

edit;

i did restart my system and it works now, so it's something on my end. stil thank you for helping.

Is there a JSGME mod for SweetFX like I have one for DCS 1.2? I don't like to execute a Setup where I don't know what is changed in DCS...

 

I wanna have FULL control over the mods in my DCS'! :-p :-D

With SweetFX2.0 and Reshade installed the DLC campaigns dont work. Kinda weird but when trying to start the Su27 campaign The Ultimate Argument you get a popup saying "This product requires activation" even though the product is already activated.

When removing SweetFX2.0 and Reshade everything works again like before. Kinda weird and i cant really seem to understand whats causing this because this didnt trigger before.

 

Maybe ED knows why SweetFX2.0 and Reshade trigger the DLC campaigns to stop working.

Important thing - SweetFx don`t make any changes at DCS files.

 

I`m sure that DCS messages are some random bug inside DCS. (Something not loaded corectly or whatever... and many times after DCS restart all is ok)

Ehm no... its not random. It only happens in combination with DLC campaigns. You can start any other campaign with SweetFX and Reshade enabled but not "The Ultimate Argument". I dont know if you have the ultimate argument campaign but whatever i try it will not work.

 

Start DCS, restart DCS, start any campaign without any problems but the Ultimate Argument no it will not work. :cry:

I thought i came back to my problem wich has been partially been solved by 238thFalcon, but after it started to fail again and i was right, the problem was on my end.

 

My EVGA Precision X 16 [5.3.10] OSD & monitoring settings caused the problem (Screen overlay :doh: )

 

my solution:

I disabled everything in monitor and OSD settings!

 

So i can keep my 2 gtx980Ti cranked up, and play DCS world 2 OpenAlpha with ReShade 1.1.0 with SweetFX 2.0 with the beautiful preset from 238thFalcon wich i highly recomend.
