Wotan_UK
Hello, I am running 3x 27" monitors via Eyefinity Res 5760x1080 setup within DCS as a single monitor resolution as above and aspect ratio of 5.3. The problem is that while everything looks correct in terms of proportion, it's far too zoomed in. I cannot zoom out further, nor can i move the camera back. I assume that i need to adjust the FOV, but can't figure out where to do this? Does this need to be done per aircraft? Is there an equivalent to FSX Wideaspectview=true? astiles5470
Hi, look into the file SnapViews.lua, in your "<Users>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View" folder. For each aircraft there are sections numbered from [1] to [13]. Modify viewAngle in section number [13], the last one. Values from 100 to 120 should work. Wotan_UK
Thank you for your help, but there isn't a view folder within that directory, or a Snapviews.lua file within the same location.
NeilWillis
The required folder is in C:\Users\*NAME*\DCS\Config\View You need to substitute the name you use as a log in on Windows in the *NAME* slot. That's where all your saved config settings, user missions etc are stored. You can also now use it as a place to store all your none-default skins by setting up a folder called Liveries in the DCS folder. Inside that, you need to create a folder for each aircraft with exactly the same name as the ones in the bazar\liveries folder in the main directory of DCS world. It is really useful for keeping everything separate. It works for Missions too.
Wotan_UK
...again there is no folder called "View" in that location. Not sure if it makes a difference but this is the Steam version. I have two files within the /config/ folder "network.cfg" and "options.lua".
