BrackishWater Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Hey everyone, When I am setting my options/preferences, I can change the resolution and color depth of the video/render. However, there are a couple training missions I've flown (SU-33 carrier launch & trap for example) that run in some special kind of graphics mode. I cannot seem to set my graphics options so that my screen always looks like it does in the training missions. I can't describe it easily. It's almost as if the render is an orthogonal projection, and when I'm in 3rd person view (F2) it's hard to focus on ground targets. Yet close up objects appear VERY nicely rendered. And the camera trembles/vibrates and it looks ultra-realistic. Is it a field of view setting? Depth of field? Something... How do I set my graphics options so that my campaign missions render in the same way these particular training missions do?
Ironhand Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 If I understand you correctly, these are not graphics options. I think you're referring to the CTRL-KeyPad * and CTRL-KeyPad / keys when in an external view. These zoom in and zoom out respectively like a telephoto lense, shortening the apparent distance between near and far objects as zoom increases. The "jiggle" effect is produced with the SHIFT-J key combination.
