tacannav Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I was not given a serial number upon purchase yet I continually am being asked for one, I know activation issues should be posted in the activation issues section, I did post there but I am posting here also before turning this over to my credit card company for a refund, I was told to contact the owners of this product by tech support because they could not resolve this matter by providing a serial number key, before you people lose me as a customer I just thought I would post here to bring attention to this matter, can anyone provide a serial number key for this item I just purchased?

You purchased it at the Eagly Dynamics Webstore, correct? You can log in there and see your orders(Personal Section -> Orders). When you click on "Details" (far right), you will be shown your serial number. Or check your Email spam folder ... Edited April 10, 2015 by Flagrum
King_Hrothgar Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Give it a day mate. I know it's frustrating but they'll get to it when they see it. In the mean time, check your email and your purchases list if you bought it through the DCS website. The key should be in both of them. Additionally, if you download it via the module manager in DCS:W, it should automatically activate in addition to listing your key. You may have already done all of those, but it doesn't hurt to mention them.

tacannav Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 I purchased and downloaded the order off the DCS website, it downloaded and installed but I do not have access to it because it keeps asking for a serial number key, I was never even given a serial number key, I did as flagrum said and checked all mailboxes personal and my account box personal orders section, there was no details box to the far right and nothing on a serial number, and there is no serial number in any of them, just two messages from tech support pertaining to this issue and even they were at a loss, if tech support cannot help, what gives?....I guess I am just accustomed to getting what I paid for, I dont get this, I will give this a couple of days as king hothgar suggested, otherwise I am at a loss.
Flagrum Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) @Cobra, could it be that the web store "ran out of serials"? Similar to what happened sometimes with Steam? From what tacannav wrote in the other thread, support told him that there is nothing wrong on their (webstore) side. That's why I wonder if there is some sort of serial number blocks that you have to provide so that the webstore can hand them out? @tacannav, perhaps you send Cobra a screenshot of the order page where you could not find the Details link. This might help him as a proof of purchase ... and perhaps it even helps him to track down what went wrong there ... And perhaps forward him your conversation with the DCS support team. tacannav Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) I just sent a 2nd e-mail to cobra to the link he gave, this second e-mail has a error report included, I also checked my spam folder, nothing is there either, I am still waiting to hear back from cobra. AceRevo Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 you should find your serial key in module manager where you can copy it... that way you have it in your clipboard for the next time you start a flight with the mig-21 and you will be asked to type in the serial.. Hope this help! X-55 profile for the F-15C
tacannav Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 The module manager was already checked, it is not there.
AceRevo Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Go to dcs-world.com and log in with your correct info and you should find your keys in Personal Section > My orders (>details) See attached picture X-55 profile for the F-15C
Flagrum Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) I have done that,....nothing there. You said somewhere, you only see your old order for Blackshark, but not the current order for the MiG, is that correct? If that is the case, how do you know that your CC was actually debited? Did you receive some sort of confirmation email from the payment processing company (iirc "SagePay")? If so, it seems to be an issue with the webstore that did not process the order correctly. Leatherneck has nothing to do with that. What did the support say why they are directing you here - instead of investigating your CC data and order information ... which is missing in the ED webstore? edit: from the other thread: Dear customer! According to our records you DID NOT purchase MiG-21 from our site under your login name. You had to receive order number or transaction number if you have bought anything from our site!!! If you have it please send it to us so we can search for your lost order. As I wrote earlier, some sort of proof that your CC was debited - with a reference to the product - is probably the only way to solve this riddle. Edited April 10, 2015 by Flagrum
