Hello,

I'm using Defender Cobra M5 twist axis for rudder control in DCS. I know it's wretched but it performs quite OK in all modules but the Huey:

While with the UH-1H it's awfully noisy and inaccurate:

I tried to reinstall Huey module and to delete "DocumentsSaved GamesDCSConfigInputUH-1Hjoystick" folder, it didn't work.

Also tried to assign my throttle (gametrix ecs) to the rudder: the result was not as bad as with the twist, but still far not as smooth and accurate as when it was assigned to the collective axis.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thank you in advance and sorry for my English

Whilst waiting for my warthog to be repaired I used an X52 and assigned the slider for rudder input. Do you have anything similar you can use on your joystick?

Also in options you can check the trim rudder box, this will probably help you as the rudder will trim to where you set it and not have to keep twisting the stick all the time.

Best option though is get a set of rudder pedals if you plan on flying helicopters a lot:)

I would have already changed my hardware if the twist behaved in such a bad way in other modules and other games, but I'm not even shure that rudder pedals would make much difference with the Huey as everywhere else the twist makes it's job quite well
