Johnny Dioxin Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Hullo Chaps, In February, I flew a few online sessions with a couple of chaps from 242sqn. Trying to watch the tracks from those sorties, I find that only AI aircraft are being shown - no player controlled aircraft appear at all. I don't remember the exact dates of the changes to confirm my theory but maybe someone here does. Is it possible that they are not showing in the tracks, due to the path being changed ('aircrafts' to 'aircraft')? Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; Pimax Crystal Light I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!
AceRevo Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 only the first recorded track online will be recorded propperly, as I understand it. If you join other servers etc these recordings will be bad, like you see your plane is taxiing into the grass on ground and there are stick movements and thrust usage as if it was in the air (which it originaly was). Ive experimented with this to use Tacview and learn from each online flight, where I had to exit the multiplayer.exe after each flight (I could respawn in that same game tho) to get the record/track running propperly. Edit: I dont know if this will answer your question, but hope it helps. X-55 profile for the F-15C

Generally I think once you update to a newer version, you wont be able to play older tracks correctly. Least I believe that is probably what is going on here. Johnny Dioxin Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Sorry for the belated response - I completely forgot I'd posted this (its my age... ) but I was afraid it would be down to the updates. Its a shame, as there were a couple of really good incidents that I wanted to post on YT (like getting an engine shot out and gliding to land on a curvy road, and actually managing to stay on that road and stop in one piece in an A-10C) but I didn't run the recorder, as I'm on 3 monitors and have to use tracks to make a viewable recording. :( Lesson learned, though. All the AI models do show up, though. Maybe it's the switch to proper English with the "Aircrafts" folder that did it. Wish some dev genius would hurry up and make a video recorder that will record a preset monitor output, rather than all three at once. Tone71 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Dxtory can record a section of your screen (eg just your main view). It can also record separate audio streams, for example your mic, your headset and your speakers; I find this handy when recording multi-player and Teamspeak or Skype.
