saa Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I've watched the tutorial and read the manual on it but I still have a question. I seem to remember a countdown timer where the missile will go autonomous and guide by it's own radar. Maybe it was in Falcon 4. Does LOMAC model this? If not does the 120 go autonomous immediately? Thanks
GGTharos Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Yes, LOMAC models this, but it's just a touch bugged. You don't get a symbol switch (from M to A) instead you need to watch for the timer to roll over. GGTharos Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I don't really know - I would have to look it up in the MLU manual, but it may not be the same symbology as in the F-15C. I was refering to as it is done in the Falcon 4.0. i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. SilentBob Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 IIRC the 120's in LOMAC are active immidiatly off the rail. TTA maybe displayed but the missiles are already active. correct me if I'm wrong SB ** image removed by moderator ** System Specs: intel Core i7 2600K, nVidia GTX580 ,8GB x1333 MHz RAM ,Win 7 ultimate 64bit, LG FLATRON W24553v 24" Monitor.
