Capn kamikaze Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Could we have a patch to add a body of a pilot in all the cockpit views (I think some aircraft have it and some don't) with arms and legs that respond to control inputs, it's especially weird when using oculus rift, looking down and seeing the cockpit from a disembodied view.
7rooper Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 There's pilot body for most planes in DCS but personally I keep it off because I don't like it since it blocks some switches and buttons I would like to reach with my mouse pointer. Besides, their animations aren't not well modelled like in the Su-27 where the pilot grabs only one the two throttles where both are moving. it looks odd!! My rig specs: Intel Core i7 4770 @3.4Ghz // Corsair 16GB DDR3 // MoBo Asus Z87K // HDD 1TB 7200RPM // eVGA Nvidia GTX 760GT 2GB DDR5 // LG 3D 47" 1920x1080 // Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS // Saitek Combat Pro Pedals // Thrustmaster MFD Cougar pack // PS3 Eye + FTNOIR
Capn kamikaze Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Well at least have the option of turning it on and off, but it should be there for all aircraft, like I said, it seems weird when using oculus rift to see no body in the seat, it ruins the VR immersion for me.
bart86pl Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Which aircraft DON'T have it out of interest? I think MiG-21 for example don't have a pilot body option. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic73792_1.gif [/sIGPIC]
