We need to unlock a few things to get DCS up to it's full potential - you can read my comments on youtube. I know I might be stepping on some nerves/big feet here, but hey - I'd rather get Vietnam rolling than just sitting tight waiting for DCS 2.0...which I'm not very excited about anyhow. I mean, all we need is Vietnam and Afghanistan and we're set for life. We just need some things adjusted.

Each pilot has his own view of what matters in the greater scheme of things. 'Nam would be cool, but so would a myriad other situations/theatres.

As long as it is as real as it gets, who cares where comes first or second? I want it all! 1944, The Falklands, Iraq, Korea, 'Nam, 1970's Europe, 2020 Europe, all have their merits. What matters most is realism, and I think DCS World is getting the recipe right in that respect. Everything esle is just a matter of patience.

@pepin1234: I've just stolen some old game files. It's translate as "go go go". But who knows really? ;)

@NeilWillis: I want it all, but I know that won't happen just like that. But what if we had something like three maps: one inland, one coastal and one sea/archipelago-map? And then four temperate seasons AND jungle and desert "seasons". That would of course mess with the realism if we want real world maps, but I think that would unlock the true potential of DCS.

I think the best way this would work is like they do with Bilsimtek or those others, let some third party design maps for the world and sell them as modules. Seems like the logical way to go about it, but I don't what ED's business model looks like to be sure that would work.
