ElGringo Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Hello, Could we have an option to remove the auto lean that is tied to the action of stowing the gunsight? I would prefer to have the view centered all the time and lean myself as necessary. Not really a problem, but an option in the "special" tab, as for the MiG-15, would be nice. BTW another little annoyance. There is a keybind to toggle the gun safety lever in the 109 but none in the 190. Would be nice to have it in the Dora too, since it is there in reality. hellking Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 You can turn it off by modifying the script file for MIG-15. The file is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\MiG-15bis\Cockpit\Scripts\mainpanel_init.lua To turn off autolean, set it to false: autoLeanToAimMiG15 = false Just to throw in as a bonus, you may want to also switch off auto hunker down for F-86 (if you have the module). Here is how to disable head height adjustment that happens after you take off: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\F-86\Cockpit\Scripts\mainpanel_init.lua landSeatAdjustF86 = false
ElGringo Posted June 3, 2015 Author Posted June 3, 2015 Thank you for your answer. The two commands you mention can also be disabled from the game interface. I looked into the mainpanel_init.lua of the 109 but could not find anything related to the autolean. ElGringo Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 Decided to resurrect this thread because there was no answer to those two questions (auto-lean in bf 109 and gun safety lever in Fw 190). Sokol1_br Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 The way that trigger work in Fw 190 D-9 is very "gamey" (a la BoS). Why not set in the correct way, like in Bf 109 K-4 or Mig-15? I guess that this "flip-flip" is idea of some Beta Tester "triggerhappy". :D And do the same for Mig-21...
ElGringo Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 Yes Sokol, all the DCS modules need standardisation of the way systems work, especially concerning inputs. It is a mess right now.
