cna't close Cockpit doors / Life bar empty

Hi

 

I'm new to the forum so I hope I'm in the right place?

 

Until recently I have been able to start from Cold and fly the huey.

 

From last week though I have not been able to close the cockpit doors either by using the mouse run over the handle or the keyboard commands when in mission or quick flight?

Also The green "life" bar at the bottom is empty when I go to mission or quick flight for a cold start up?

 

But as a test I went into training and it all works fine when doing the cold start tutorial?

 

Obviously I'm being a total dork and doing something wrong but for the life of me I can't think what?

Any ideas or solutions would be much appreciated.

Don 't know what a life bar is but the huey doors can be problematic, move your mouse over door post and toward latch on the door, sometimes the green icon is only clickable off centre and you have to look for it:)

The life bar thingy as I call it is the battery shaped icon that is green at the bottom of the screen? In all the other scenarios most of it is filled green?

But now when I try a mission to start from cold it is empty?

 

As for the doors I no mater where I put the cursor the green icon will not appear? And I can't use the keyboard commands either?

Yet If I go into training missions it does work fine?.

 

I've tried to upload a track file of the problem.

You will also see the battery shaped thing which is usually green at the bottom?

Ok, put the curser where your right hip would be, IE the latch on the door pillar not the door itself. And the green bar only comes on in game mode which I have never used so could not comment. Maybe it goes green depending on correct startup?:)

It is RIGHT control + C. Works like a charm.

I have noticed, long time ago, that most of the times, at mission start, the mouse cannot interact with the door handles. But if I close the doors with keyboard shortcut once, then the mouse can interact with the doors.

your green bar is a representation of the engine rpm... page up and page down controls this..hope this helps
