mwheeler Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Is there a way to increase the size of the font letters and numbers on the HUD??? I can't find anything or any buttons that increase the size of it. I looked on the forum for the answer but couldn't find anything. Thanks guys! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lobinjaevel Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 There was one thread covering this, "Oculus rift dk2 bigger HUD", but it seems to have been removed. There is a way tho, iirc. I don't remember how to do it, but someone surely does :)

This is for the A-10C, I'm sure if you look at the file structure/script from this mod you maybe able to modify other aircraft. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/374967/
Raven_Morpheus Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 I tried modifying the A-10C HUD, using the info in that same mod (which is based on an older version of the game) to make the lettering bigger and I found that anything but the default value means you can't' fit all the text on the HUD and it ends up looking all wrong at best and unreadable at worst. I think the only way around it is either to use a snap view with the view zoomed or zoom in manually.
GeorgeLKMT Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Try using value of 62, that's what I'm on now and I can't complain. Some stuff is overlaping here and there but 90% of the time it's OK and only affects non essential stuff IMHO. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
mwheeler Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 Which zoom key would I use? In my options there seem to be a lot of different zoom options... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
