Confused - F/A-18C already available?

I'm really confused, I just saw this thread and video about VFA-113 flying F/A-18C hornets.

 

This is already a flyable aircraft in DCS??

Private mods. Not a paid for module available to anyone.

 

Said private mods often use the SFM, often don't have clickable pits, and quite often just use the cockpit of an existing airframe (F-15 being very common).

 

So is there already a flyable F18 in DCS? No, not really.

I do not know the details of their particular mod. I'd probably guess at no. You could just go and ask them :)

They have their own privat cockpit Mod with A2G and A2A capability base on the Su-33 (they need the hook for carrier landings!
