Force_Feedback Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 The thing is a monster, Lordi are sweet angels compared to the mighty Airwolf, errm, I mean, Skarky. Man, better install them lasers on them commie Bell-AH1s, as the Ka-50 will rule the troposphere, and the stratosphere, and the mesosphere, and all other spheres, as it can make brief jumps into space. Lordi ! :punk: Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Guest IguanaKing Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Yeah...I remember the episode in which the 222 did all those things. Stringfellow Hawk and Dom (Dominic Santini...the late Ernest Borgnine of McHale's Navy) had fake icing on their flight suits when that record was achieved. We witnessed it on national television!!! :D Force, do you remember the Russian death probe in episodes of "Six Million Dollar Man"? Gawd that show was hilarious. One of my co-workers was involved in a HUGE auto accident 11 years ago...they re-built him...we call him the "Three Million Dollar Man". :D
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 One of my co-workers was involved in a HUGE auto accident 11 years ago...they re-built him...we call him the "Three Million Dollar Man".Fell off my bicycle last year (one too many beers) and scraped my arm, I was rebuilt by putting a sticking plaster on it (the really big one, that they only give you one of 'em in the box) Does that make me the "Thirty Cent Man"? :smilewink: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
Guest IguanaKing Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Yup, it sure does. But the cost of your injury was probably higher than that. This friend of mine had a Volkswagen launched through his windshield at 60 MPH by the Chevy Suburban coming the opposite direction at that speed. It literally took 3 million dollars to make him what he is today...another able-bodied, aviation lovin', smart-arse like me. ;)
nscode Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Maybe you should uprgrade your self too and get the leed ;) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
Alfa Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Alfa, my apologies for past conflicts with you. Direct conflict was never my intention, but it just happened that way I guess. I extend the olive branch to you, brother. No problem mate :) . Cheers, - JJ. JJ
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 This friend of mine had a Volkswagen launched through his windshield at 60 MPH D@mn! Thats some scary £$%^&...... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
Guest IguanaKing Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 D@mn! Thats some scary £$%^&...... Yeah, it was actually closer to 110 since my buddy was moving in the opposite direction at 50 MPH. The driver of the VW had had a few too many and crossed onto the wrong side of Santa Fe. That is less likely to happen now...the T-Rex project has severely modernized that road...lots of concrete barriers between opposing lanes.
