Hi alieneye

Thanks for your answer.

I have the possibility to buy the computer system from a friend for a very good price:

Intel i7 2600 3.40 GHz

8GB RAM (Kingston ValueRAM (2x, 4GB, DDR3-1333, DIMM 240))

Samsung EVO 850 250 GB

Western Digital Blue 1 TB

ZOTAC GTX-560 Ti OC 1GB GDDR5 (2x DVI and 1x Mini HDMI [incl. HDMI adapter])

Mainboard: ASUS P8H67-M (B3) (LGA 1155, mATX) (6x USB 2.0 behind - Gigabit ethernet ect)

Samsung DVD-ROM SH-118BB + 1x USB 2.0 in front

I have to buy a better graphic card (GTX 970) to play DCS in high resolution and with a 34" screen. I think I'll also buy the Dell Screen 3415W. Looks really fantastic and this system is much cheaper then the HP system above ;-)

That system should serve you well, especially if that is a 'k' (unlocked) processor. Even without overclocking, the machine in my sig has served me quite well for DCS.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

Thanks for your help guys.

Which minimum GPU I have to use for 34" widescreen to play DCS in QHD (3.440 x 1.440)?

Geforce GTX 960 or GTX 970?

Gtx970 from what I've read would be fine
