Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of help in the running of DCS. At present whether using vanilla or with mods I'm averaging around 20 fps.

I have textures on high, water, scenes, low, heat blur off, visible range medium and tree visibility etc on pretty low.

Everything else is turned off including cockpit shadows.

I have a amd piledriver fx processor, 8gb corsair dominator ram, Asus hd7870 gpu

Any help appreciated

here is my settings for the public version, these are the settings I use in Multiplayer with good results.

check you are not using "every frame" for cockpit res, as that can be a problem for some.

also is this for every aircraft or just a particular one?

I have really noticed huge slowdowns with the last couple of patches...the performance has really gone from mediocre to abysmall...

DCS World 2.0 is going for a clean slate, so Im hoping things will get better before they get worse.

Yesterday for example I noticed something in free flight, that I havent seen in ages. Stutters! Terrible terrible stutters, and I have no slouch of a rig. Haven't noticed that in a long time...but then again I havent been playing for a few months at least.

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.
