Hi All

Very confused at the mo. Ordered my Delanclip and downloaded both FacetrackNoIr and Opentrack. I have been searching for a straight forward installation guide with DCS but only getting snippets of info.

As I'm using 64bit, is there anything extra to do to get it working? Also which is best? More smoother and responsive?

I don't mind if someone could give some sort of simple way and then if I can get it working, I would be only too glad to write a tutorial that would save a lot of people new to headtracking the help they deserve.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers

I recently had some problems with FTNOIR in DCS so I switched to opentrack and couldn't be happier. I recommend opentrack all the way after having used FTnoIR for a couple of years. Also using a 3 point clip in both programs. Opentrack seems to be much smoother and I get less freakouts when I turn my head too far or something. Once in a while everything becomes inverted and that seems to happen more in FTnoIR than opentrack.

Thanks for the replies. Cliffy, do you have any pointers to install, what settings you have etc? It would be very helpful. My Delanclip arrived today but still waiting for my PS3eye to arrive.

Hi Speedstick. If I have problems with Opentrack, did you do anything special to FacetrackNoIr to get it working for DCS? Where did you place the headtracker files and what are your initial settings?

Hey. Actually I just tried it once more to see and it worked. No idea why. Don't have any preference between the two right now. They are both good.
