What are your hardware specs?

Did you ever experience freezes before in other applications?

How long does it take for the freeze to happen?

Is it random?

How long did you wait when it froze?

 

I have had freezes in DCS aswell, but i also got them outside of DCS. It had to do with my SSD shutting down because of some energy efficiency setting.

It's the 1Gig GPU you are using. Do you have access to another GPU to test this?

 

There are other Posts with this error and they found it related to GPU Ram.

I'm running track IR 5, with windows 7 and havnt had a problem (for nearly 18 months now) There is 1 game on my computer that does exactly the same thing to me as you are describing. I never diagnosed the problem but did suspect a graphics issue. As someone above mentioned, it could be your GPU causing it.
