I have been playing the game for about 10 hours now and loving it. but when i when to launch the game today i have a problem. The problem is that when ever i try to use my keyboard to input any key the game crashes and displays a massage saying DCS world has crashed. I can get into a mission and fly, shoot and land. But when it comes to pressing "A" or "G" or any key on my keyboard the game crashes. This goes for the single player and the multilayer. multilayer i don't know because i can't login so i can get into a match. (i have the steam version) thank you for your time. Alix_141 Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 I can't find the DCS_updater.exe file on my pc, and i have done a full system search for it and it came back with no results.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted August 13, 2015 ED Team Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Find your dcs world install folder, you will find the updater in the bin folder F:\DCS World\bin Another thing to try is to rename your dcs folder in saved games, it will create a new one when it restarts. You will ofcourse have to redo your settings C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS you will also find your logs folder in here, after any crash please zip the folder and attach it to your post here so we can help you better. Alix_141 Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 ok so i managed to fix the bug by re-installing the game for the 3rd time. so if anyone is having this problem, and have installed the game through steam. All you have to do is un-install the game and re-install the game 3 times :D. thank you all for the help
