FlyingHighAU Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Hi All, I've somehow lost one of the very thin metal washer clips that goes on the end of the rod of the pinky leaver. Where can I purchase another one from - what it's actually called? Thanks:thumbup:
Deezle Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 They're commonly referred to as E-clips. Not sure on the size, looks close to .093" (2.36mm). Rangi Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I don't have a warthog but from the photo it looks like a lock washer. You might be lucky and get one from bunnings (check with thrustmaster for exact size). If not, you could probably make one out of an ice cream container or something of the right width. MTFDarkEagle Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Yep - called a locking clip, or e-clip. You can get these at the more specialised hardware stores (or even your local if you're lucky :P ) Measure the diameter of the small edge where it's supposed to slot into and you're good to go :) Also, if the E-clip is unavailable you could get away with a C-clip. A bit different shape, but does the same job. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
