ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted May 26, 2006 ED Team Posted May 26, 2006 Guys, relax on the fps issues. LOBS runs, on my machine, pretty much with the same fps as with FC 1.12a. :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page
NEODARK Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 whats your PC ;) and what settings are you running @? Im interested in MAXIMUM possible in-game quality, as in every setting as high as it will possibly go. But like I said, I think it will be allright.

Force_Feedback Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 So, can I borrow some CPU time from a supercomputer, or borrow the whole thing for a couple of weeks after BS is released? Just pulling your legs, don't ban me for making fun of lomac :P BTW, now that I actually watched the vid (little kid that kept his nose of the ground was hilarious), I got to say taht the ejection sequence doesn't show the top hatch being blown off, and you don't see the tractor rocket+ lanyard followed by a full stretched parachute, which in turn is followed by the pilot (the seat stays in the cockpit to die). So, will this be fixed until Christmas? Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
wasserfall Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 When i was in Moskow this summer i had the opportunity to fly BS at the 1C stand Although the game was in it's early stage, game play was very smooth i flew in cockpit(no gods view) and after getting used to the controls (X52) it wasn;t really hard to fly, even landed on a building and on roads. I don't think we have to buy new computers to run it. Chears Intel Core i5-9600K, Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 WINDFORCE 8G
NEODARK Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 THanks GA, :) Dumb question, what exactly does "Visibility setting" affect? -Draw distance? and if so, going to medium would be a BIG disadvantage, wouldnt it? after all, its all about SA. PS: Im hoping to be able to run it @ 1920x1200 with everything on high with a minimum of 25 FPS. I wonder if this is a realistic expectation for my system. (more less my average now @ highest settings.)
ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted May 26, 2006 ED Team Posted May 26, 2006 Visibilitly setting seems to affect objects, not the actual draw distance. Planes aren't affected though, so using medium isn't really a bad thing. Going to high really messes with the frame rate, so i play it safe and use medium. :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page
