No words! look the elephants and birds in the first 2 screenshots.. damn! and all the rest is so amazing!

Does this mean we'll get birdstrikes? (serious question) And those drag trucks, will they be "flyable" as well? How about all the ground vehicles, will we be able to collide with them, let's say during rotation. How about the crash physics, are we over the "omg 911, Osama Jr. will fly that plane tomorrow into some precious landmark, even though it has been done before and no-one is stupid enough to repeat it" stage yet, or will we get the gay physics we got in FS2k2/4? Even with that crash enabler tool (some payware offcourse, every bastard wants to make heaps of money on FS :|) the damage detection was rough to say the least.

Or are we just spoiled by lomacs AFM planes and don't know what's the standard, even though FS10 will set it in the future?

Those drag trucks are from the X-team airshow.. it was very popular before two of those poor pilot died (Jimmy Franklin and Bobby Younkin, it happened last year) and they look really the same as in those screenies.. They were doing a great show, you can find something in the internet if you look for "X-Team airshow", one of them is Jim Le Roy from Redbull airshow (kick ass pilot!!).

I have good hopes about the crash model..

btw the work in proggress screenies look awesome!!

Well, I can try telling you but eh, how should I put it, well, I'm currently in a flank 2 position, but nothing is wrong, Jack Bauer is certainly not trying to torture me or something ;)

They are beautiful screens, and from what ive been reading up they are adding alot of new lighting effects aswell which should make things look amzing.

I can only be a matter of time before they add weapons :) :) :)

Wow!

FF,

So FS10 will feture some sort of AFM that will set a new standard?

I am completely clueless, but if they have birds, why not add little collision detection bosex around them that will interact with aircraft? This is not lomac, they know how to optimise the code so it will run on anything with more than 25 fps.

Ok. I thought they have announced their own version of AFM or something.

Thanks

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

I don't even know where to look for fsx info, let alone know anything about "afm", X-plane has afm, but the FCS for supersonic jets (or unstable ones) is badly moddled, so you can't fly unstable planes very well.

Lets hope the FMs will be tweaked too, the vanilla planes are always way too responsive in msfs.
