CarlBrutananadilewski Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 In the Su-25T, in the controls tab in the options menu, there is no command called 'weapons release' or 'release weapons'. I am trying to play the sim version of DCS, but I can't use any weapons when there is no weapons release. Old topics asking why guns don't fire say that they have to press 'weapons release' first, but I can't find any such command. What is wrong?
Czar66 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Check under Su-25T 'weapon' controls the command: 'weapon fire'. That's the one to fire missiles and your gun. I believe it's not like the F-15C that has gun and missile fire in separated key bindings. Post back if it's functioning. Welcome to forums! o7
kontiuka Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Also, I think the default keyboard command to toggle between cannon and weapons (missiles, bombs, rockets, etc.) is "C".
Deezle Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 To further elaborate, the Russian FC3 level aircraft use the trigger to fire both the cannon and drop bombs/fire missiles. The cannon command is for switching to the cannon, it does not fire it. CarlBrutananadilewski Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Unfortunately, it does not seem to do anything. Pressing the 'D' key doesn't flip the switch on the weapons panel in the cockpit, and the 'C' key doesn't appear to do anything either. Here is my current setup:
kontiuka Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Make sure you are in ground attack mode, "7" key.
Slazi Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Load rockets on all pylons so you don't need to worry about lasing. Press space to fire.
CarlBrutananadilewski Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Ah, thanks! That worked.
