mudfysh Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I'm looking to upgrade to the TM warthog and while shopping around I found one site that had a THRUSTMASTER 2960720 and a THRUSTMASTER 2960720B. The "B" model was $100 more expensive. Does anyone know the reason for this? They seemed to be the same thing. The "B" model was also sold and delivered from a 3rd party site.

Just guessing: the other one contained also the throttle

mudfysh Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 As far as I can tell there is no difference. It looks like the "B" model is shipped and sold from a 3rd party site. That site doesn't have great buyer reviews and they are claiming the original price is over $1000 and it's a huge savings. I'm going with the original model. Seems to be battle proven. Now for pedals. With so many different places to buy from it's difficult to tell a great deal from a scam.
Chief1942 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Simply based upon my personal experience, when it comes to rudder pedals, I would highly recommend MFG Crosswinds. yes, there are less expensive rudder pedals out there, but I will stand by cost/quality. One gets what they pay for. I've only been playing flight sims for about 2 weeks now, so I think I'll try making coordinated turns before building a pit.

So far they have been reliable and sturdy - check them out. Win 10 Pro 64Bit | 49" UWHD AOC 5120x1440p | AMD 5900x | 64Gb DDR4 | RX 6900XT

Exactly the ones I'm looking at currently. I'm also looking for a group or individual to fly with. My schedule only allows me to play for 2 weeks a month. So I can't make weekly commitments. It seems to me though that the only way to get the most out of this game is by passing on the knowledge.
