Hi guys

 

I recently changed my pc but still got the same controllers

 

Is there a way to take my old input settings and past it other the new one? SO i don't have to redo the mapping for all aircrafts again

Which files are requiered and where are they ?

 

I tried to copy past my old Savedgames/DCS/Input folder but it did not work :cry:

You need to export the files from your old setup and then import them to the new, from within Options>Controls. You will need to do this for each aircraft/controller.

I aam already on my new pc but still got access to my old drive. So any other way to do it ?

Then let the sim create new files for your controls (IIRC, if you just touch them briefly in Options>Controls the files will get created), then either rename your old files with the new names, which contain the new controller IDs, or paste the content of the old files into the new ones.

which folder exactly ? I did not do any kind of export ingame, but it should be stored somewhere probably a lua file no ?

is it in Saved gaqmes or directly in the dcs install folders then ?

I think the files you are looking for are located at C:\Users\"your user name"\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

PoleCat is correct. Sorry I missed your posts.

 

In that folder you will find subfolders for each aircraft and their contents is divided further by controller type.
