I was working on the campaign but for the second time I've been on the second mission and happened to have other things I needed to take care of so I quit mid mission. Upon returning, I found tat I have to start again from the first mission. If you fail or quit at any point before completing the current mission it just pits you back to the beginning?

IIRC, you have to stay above a certain percentage of mission completion, or else you have to start from scratch because the campaign as a whole is considered failed.

As this was the second mission you ditched, you would thereby have a 50% success rate and this may be too low. If it was the second time in a row that you quit, it will have been even less percentage success rate (1/3) and definitely too low.

That's just what I think - it may not be correct with current versions, but sounds like it's the case in this scenario.

Btw, have they fixed the radio problem in the campaign? Is it working for you or have you fixed it by yourself by manually saving each mission?

Typically in campaigns any score < 50 and you go back a mission, = 50 and you repeat the same mission and > 50 and you go to the next mission.

It's up to the campaign designer to decide which is best for the given mission/campaign.

The radio has just been working for me. I use awacs and can contact atc for anything and I get the proper response. I only bought the mig21 a couple of weeks ago though so I'm not sure what the original issue with the radio was.
