MR835 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Not so much a crash, but refuses to load any missions. Attached is the log. I suspect it may have something to do with the first error listed: 00030.458 ERROR VFS: VFS_open_write: CreateFile(C:\Users\Seb\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\temp.lua): Access is denied. ...after that point it sounds very upset! The same error and sequuence features for the following modules: TF-51, Su-27, Mig-21. Su-25T did load once though!! Looked great! :)dcs.txt
sobek Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Virus scanner perhaps? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
MR835 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Good thinking... I'm using Immunet 3 and terminating the process or putting it in 'gaming mode' still yeilds the same result :(dcs.txt
MR835 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 I should probably point out this is the Steam version, running: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DCSWorld\bin\dcs.exe ...in the event that it makes a difference.
MR835 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 OK, so I harnessed all my sysadmin skills and created a file 'temp.lua', copied it to: C:\Users\<insert_username_here>\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS ...edited the security options so that 'everyone' had 'full control' and now the missions load. However, the temp.lua vanishes after each mission, so you have to keep copying it back. At least 1.5 is now working!! :)
AtaliaA1 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Interesting. why did you put the temp. file in there? This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig.
