After upgrading to 1.5 I am no longer able to see the LEFT_MFCD being exported onto my left monitor. I have the resolution set to 3840x1080 (2x 1920x1080 monitors). My left screen shows the radar display export when I initially load with a red tint and then quickly becomes 100% white. Enabling the FPS display also shows that the frames continuously overlap each other and it does not properly update.

I can easily reproduce this by going to instant action -> F-15C Intercept

I have also tested with the KA-50 and the SHKVAL display exports just fine without issue. I have not changed my monitor setup configuration from the previous version of DCS where it all worked perfectly.

+1 to this. My export works fine in A10C, just as it did in version 1.2.xyz. For some reason the F-15C does not export. Additionally, I've set the cockpit mfd off in the viewporthandler lua, but in F15 it's still very much on.

Not sure if this is something to do with a revert due to the export not working, but again it works fine in A10C, just not in the F15 (for me)

I have found the same problem with the Mig 29S, and like others, the maverick camera in the A10A works fine. I haven't tested this issue in the other FC3 planes

Bug confirmed. Cannot use F-15C VSD on exported display. Get a static scenery background and then once game starts the VSD on external display gets totally whited out and is unusable.

You can see this in action with the A10A as well. But it's not a bug on the A-10A The MFD will be exported correctly using a maverick. if you cycle away from the maverick the screen will tint red and eventually white out. If you switch back to a maverick, the screen will update properly again.

Hope that helps.

It looks like the exported displays are not having their background exported and hence we get the bleed through of the background.

I modified my config so that the MFDs were exported onto an area of my default viewport (i.e. the background was constantly updating) and it displayed no problem but as a transparent image. The F15C radar was perfectly visible when done this way.

It looks like DCS doesn't wipe the background clear in between frames (and never has) and this shows up when there is no rendering occurring behind.

Dcs 1.5 multi monitor

Hi

I'm just enquiring before I send possible bug report.

I am running dcs with multi monitors primarily for A10c MFD export but also exporting the FC3 F15 VSD. All the monitor lua is setup fine and all works fine in none beta.

However in the 1.5 beta the A10 export works fine but the FC3 F15 VSD doesn't display. On start up of f15 electrics I get the VSD appearing briefly on the external monitor then it fades to a white screen. Is this a bug? Has anyone else had this?

Just adding to what has already been confirmed.

I have created LUA files for the SU-25T, the A-10C, and the KA-50 that successfully export the MFDs, ARBRIS, and SHKVAL to my 8inch Lilliput Monitors. No issues. Works great and now with minimum frame rate loss.

However, I have been unable to export any of the various radars. The F-15C, Mig-29, and SU-27 appear either corrupted or as a blank box with terrain graphics behind it.

Is this the general consensus and shared experience of the group?

Thanks,

Stephen

Fixed

Hey all, just dropping a note to confirm the latest patch has fully fixed this issue for me.

It even went one step further, in old Dcs 1.2 and prior, the f10 map spread across my main display and out onto my mfcd panels, which sucked because they were only 800 pixels tall vs the 1200 of my main display.

With the newest patch, my f15 radar not only exports again, but the f10 map doesn't spread beyond the main display anymore. Fantastic!

i only have the Vertical Situation Display instead the Multi Purpose Color Display on the F-15C in current Beta 2.5.5 and Stable 2.5.5

any ideas on how to get the MPCD instead the VSD on my left LCD and perhaps the TEWS display on the right LCD?
