[REPORTED]lights not lighting up water

I know this is an old bug, just wanted to make sure you know it is still there in 1.5

 

The lights do not light up the water surface. You can test it with Huey search lights for example.

Just by the way...

Is this going to be fixed soon? I read there are some changes in the engine for Normandy, so that gave me some hope, but people reported this still doesn't work.

I have reported this internally, it is not a priority at the moment so wont be fixed quickly

 

In DCS 2 and beyond the issue is the deeper the water the less the light can be seen, this needs to be fixed so the light can always be seen on the surface of the water.

 

Do not worry I will pursue it :)

I am very excited for 2.2+ so....

Is this issue fixed in the current builds?

Is there any time horizon when this could finally be fixed?

I know it is minor but... it instantly kills immersion when you notice it.
