NakedSquirrel Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I decided to give the 1.5 beta patch a stress test. Graphics improvements were great and I was able to max out all of the settings. I threw a couple of planes in for a quick dogfight and things looked good. I figured if the game could handle 4 planes, why not see how it handles 120? I'm not good at math, but those numbers seemed close enough to me. How did it handle the massive dogfight? Flawlessly... 1.5 has its issues, but optimization is far better than the previous engine. NakedSquirrel Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 Windows 10 64bit Intel i5-4690K @3.5GHz 16GB DDR3 Nvidia GTX 780 I started getting FPS hits with 200-250. It was related to 3d rendering since I only got the hit when looking at a lot of planes. I haven't tried at different distances, just one massive furball.
