Saved mission not showing up

Made a fast mission in the ME for testing and saved it under the "My Missions" folder but the file name does not show in the tab when looking for it. Nothing in the mission except single jet with runway takeoff.

 

The file name appears only in the file naming line, not the folder area. Restarting DCS does not change this and the mission only show in the naming line when th ME is opened.

The problem is that the ME is not saving files with the miz extension, unless you expressly type it in (no extension at all to be precise).

 

If you browse the folder in Windows and rename the file, to add the '.miz' extension, they will 'appear' and work.

 

I am going to guess this is a bug, since I don't recall ever having to do that before.

Thanks. I'll try that out. Never thought of that as it has the "save file as .miz" part to the right of the file name.
