We are aware of a bug in the latest nVidia driver that affects the quality of half-size captures" I think that my video production is stoped :(
paladrian Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Try other nvidia drivers, I once had the same problem with my now defunct 6800gt (), I think the drivers the got me the best results were 72.89
SVK_Fox Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 older driver Try other nvidia drivers, I once had the same problem with my now defunct 6800gt (), I think the drivers the got me the best results were 72.89 Hmm..i think it is not so easy necause older driver doesnt support new cards. EG I downloaded 81.98_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql - older driver and I expected that it will be better as I read somewhere on internet, but this driver is not supported for my 7800GS.:( If I expected problems like this i rather buyed ATI graphic card. My need to make videos is now dead :noexpression:
ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted June 9, 2006 ED Team Posted June 9, 2006 Guys, please understand there is more to FRAPS than just having a good graphics card. You need a fast HD (10 000 rpm) and a good cpu as well. Having a good cpu, HD and graphics card should solve all fraps issues. In both battlefield 2 and lomac i can set my desired fps in fraps (25 or 30) and it will stay at that fps. here's a bf 2 "playaround" movie i put together using fraps, i did everything realtime, and had around 50 fps all the time. http://youtube.com/watch?v=cS1JKhcj5Y4 Cheers https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page

I think problem is comunication between FRAPS and NVIDIA DRIVERS - maybe. I am not so happy now.:joystick:
