TrackIR 4 pro

Hi first post on here, just a quick question about track ir4 before i buy, how long is the usb cable that comes with it?, not sure if it will reach from monitor to case, also what are your thoughts on it?

I think it's 6 feet long or longer, but get a USB extention cable it you come up short. That's what I did.

The track Ir has an amazing three legged prong that can be transformed/morphed/altered to fit most monitors. It is in itself an amazing piece of (over looked) design. It fits great on my flat screen monitor, and would easily fit on the laptop monitor, since the legs "pincer" together to grip.

Could anyone post a picture of how the trackir would stay on a laptop screen or does it need the Monitor Mount?

Here's a pic on "it" mounted on my LCD, so I guess its close enough.

 

 

No mounting kit is needed, you simply use it's legs to clamp to LCD. (should be ok in laptops as well since its completely adjustable) :thumbup:

I got the TrackIR 3 pro with vector expansion and I am very happy with it.

Is there any need to upgrade to TrackIR 4 pro ? I mean are there REAL noticeable enhancements?

If you already have a trackir 3 pro w/vector then the answer is no.
