RESOLUTION ISSUES IN 1.5

I am still having a resolution problem with 1.5, if anyone could offer a suggestion please? The maximum I can run is 1920x1080 because if I go above this the icons and 'ok' buttons are not visible onscreen, so I can only end task and start again. If I force the resolution by using L Alt and Enter, I get a beautiful rendered opening screen with all the icons and start menu there but none of them are clickable, so again end task and edit the options folder back to 1920x1080. The Old 1.2 could run at 2560x1440 so would like that on 1.5 any having that problem or can offer a solution? Thanks.

Have you tried setting the windows scaling to 100%?

yes but same problem. I think I have identified [with some help] it to the AMD control scaling settings and got it to work once, but cannot seem to replicate the solution since.

this might be a long shot, but you can try this. Try editing the "options.lua" in "C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\"

["height"] = 2560,

["width"] = 1440,

},

 

But there might be a chance where is you change your settings in-game it may revert back to 1920x1080. Also only edit the height and width sections with in the Options.lua.

Try the attached file and add it to the "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup" Folder

 

Then open DCS Openbeta, go to settings and select the 2560x1440 Screen from the monitors dropdown menu and Save.

 

Good luck I hope that works for you. I'd test is but My monitor is 1920x18080.

 

one more thing is by chance it all goes to hell the fix for this is as follows:

 

Edit these sections within the options.lua in "C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\"

 

["multiMonitorSetup"] = "1camera",

["height"] = 1920,

["width"] = 1080,

2560x1440Camera.lua

No worries, try the 2560x1440 Screen Lua first.

After installing DCS World 1.5 today for the first time (had 1.2.16 until today), had to start searching to solve the screen reolution problem - and your advice solved my problem 5 stars !

I have the same problem. DCS cannot run properly in a different resolution than Windows desktop resolution.
